Brigitte at the 600 Block Murals of Central Avenue in St Petersburg

Brigitte Sossou Perenyi was my gracious model at the “600 Block” (of Central Avenue in St Petersburg) murals that I had seen previously and had wanted to shoot for quite some time. I had been compiling a list of places to shoot in the Tampa Bay area and had to try this spot out. It is popular with other photographers because of the riot of color available there. You can check out my google map of places I think are interesting here: http://goo.gl/5hw2gH I would be happy to add to this map for photographers if you choose to send me places you have found interesting photographically in the Tampa Bay area.
A special shout out to my Stylist Brigitte herself, our Make up artist Courtney Taylor, and also Scott Krebs for directions and suggestions for this shoot. I had fun with my two SaberStrips providing additional portable lighting. Met up with Rossie Newson a St Pete photographer with great talent http://photosbyrossie.com/.who was interested in my lighting set up. Never know what adventures befall you, and the wonderful folk you encounter on the photographic trail. Comments are welcome……

Michael, your photos of Brigitte are simply beautiful! I love your lighting, colors and compositions. It’s hard to take a bad picture of Brigitte, but your images really capture the true person. Your photos also say a lot about you… warm, open, kind and overall a great human being! I’m looking forward to doing some shoots with you. Love your work!
